Photography has long been a passion of mine going back to the days when film cameras were still the norm. When I moved over to digital cameras initially I photographed predominantly landscapes. Over the last few years however I have been moving more towards street photography. For me photography and street photography in particular will always be about exploring and knowing life.

I remember hearing a photographer saying that a picture isn't taken, it is given and I try to adopt this approach in all my photography.

I particularly like this quote by Ansel Adams -

"You don't make a photograph just with a camera. You bring to the act of photography, all the pictures you have seen, the books you have read, the music you have heard, the people you have loved."

I like to think of this as the essence of my photography.

The main photography areas I concentrate on are Street, Landscape and Portait and the selection of my photographs on the website reflects these main interest areas. I also have an Exhibition Category on the website reflecting a varied selection of images I have had in various exhibitions, publications and websites in recent years.

I have had varied commissions over the last few years and I always am open to any specific photography requests, projects or specific shoots anyone may have. If you have anything in mind and would like to discuss please contact me using the contact form.

Thank you for visiting my website and I hope you enjoy the photographs.
